GMR Airports January Update: Passenger Traffic Rises 11.4% To Over 1.06 Crore
Domestic traffic rose 11%, while its international traffic reported an 12.4% growth, according to GMR Airports' exchange filing.

GMR Airports Ltd. recorded passenger traffic of over 1.06 crore across all its airports in January 2025, which translates to an 11.4% surge on a year-on-year basis.
Domestic traffic rose 11%, while the international traffic grew by 12.4%, according to the company's exchange filing on Monday.
The company shared the performance of its three key airports as follows:
Delhi Airport
In January, Delhi Airport recorded passenger traffic of 69 lakh, marking a 9.7% growth YoY. This was the highest month ever for passenger traffic at the airport.
Domestic traffic handled by the airport rose by 9.7% on a YoY basis, while its international traffic soared 9.5%.
The airport witnessed an 8% YoY rise in aircraft movement.
Hyderabad Airport
Last month, the airport's passenger traffic crossed 26 lakh passengers, marking a 21.2% growth YoY.
Its domestic traffic rose 23.4% YoY, while the international traffic surged by 10.7%.
Goa Airport
In January, the Mopa (Goa) airport handled around 38 lakh passengers, a rise of 5.8% YoY.
Its domestic traffic rose 1.2% YoY, while international traffic surged 199.7%.
Shares of GMR Airports Ltd. closed 0.33% lower at Rs 70.22 apiece on the BSE, compared to a 0.08% advance in the benchmark Sensex.
