DDA Site Crashes on Day 1 of Housing Scheme 2014

DDA Site Crashes on Day 1 of Housing Scheme 2014
None

The Delhi Development Authority's site seems to have crashed within hours of the government agency launching its biggest housing scheme. DDA's website has either been too slow or completely inaccessible for users since the scheme for over 25,000 flats opened at 09.30 a.m. today.

This is the error message we got many times -- "Server is too busy" or "This webpage is not available". At times, the site opened, but the brochure detailing the scheme could not be downloaded.

One way to access the brochure is to visit the website of the 13 banks, which have been authorised by the DDA to accept online applications. These banks are Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Syndicate Bank, Indusland Bank, Union Bank of India, IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, HDFC Bank, Corporation Bank and Central Bank of India.

Application forms for the housing scheme can be bought from designated branches of these 13 banks. These banks have also been authorized by the DDA to accept application forms.

Online applicants can pay the registration money of Rs 1 lakh through NEFT, RTGS or net banking, DDA said. The last date of application is October 9, 2014.
