CP Gurnani's AIonOS, Perpetuuiti Form Joint Venture To Launch AI Business Continuity Agents
AIonOS is aiming for $5-8 million in revenue from the venture in its first year of operations.

AlonOS, headed by former Tech Mahindra chief executive officer CP Gurnani, has entered into a joint venture with Singapore-based software firm Perpetuuiti.
The JV is aimed at combining AlonOS' agentic AI capabilities with Perpetuuiti's enterprise resilience products for AI-driven cyber resilience solutions.
As part of the agreement, the companies will launch the world’s first certified Business Continuity Management, or BCM AI Agent, designed to help organisations anticipate disruptions, respond autonomously, and restore critical operations. A new AI-led Resiliency and Cybersecurity Unit will be set up to drive this initiative.
The venture will initially target Perpetuuiti’s existing base of 400 customers and plans to expand into sectors such as travel, tourism, hospitality, logistics, and telecom. AIonOS is aiming for $5-8 million in revenue from the venture in its first year of operations.
"Incorporating AI into Perpetuuiti’s platforms will effectively act as a second brain for enterprises," CP Gurnani, CEO of AIonOS, told NDTV Profit. He cited recent incidents like the Cloudstrike-related outages at Delta Airlines and the UK's NHS as reminders of the urgent need for automated resilience capabilities.
Founded in 2011, Perpetuuiti specialises in IT and cyber resilience, and counts nine of the top 10 Indian listed firms as its clients.
Commenting on the broader AI landscape, Gurnani noted that India's Large Language Model market is evolving rapidly, with multiple new LLMs expected soon. AIonOS has worked with models like DeepSeek and plans to continue a flexible approach, selecting different LLMs based on customer sentiment and cost considerations.
The joint venture comes at a time when enterprises are increasingly looking to strengthen operational resilience amid rising cyber threats.
