Cox & Kings posts over ten-fold increase in Q3 net

Cox & Kings Ltd (CKL) on Friday reported an over 10-fold rise in net profit at Rs 31 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2013, mainly due to a surge in demand for education travel.
The travel company had registered a net profit of Rs 3 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago, it said in a release.
Net sales improved by 15 per cent at Rs 408 crore during the quarter, from Rs 357 crore in the year-ago period.
