Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland on Thursday launched its intermediate commercial vehicle Boss in the Delhi market.
Priced between Rs 10.5 lakh and Rs 12 lakh, the vehicle will be available in different tonnage segments - 9.6T, 11.9T and 12.9T. It is powered by a 120 HP H-series BS3 complaint engine, Ashok Leyland said in a statement.
The Boss is being made at the company's Pantnagar plant.
Ashok Leyland is targeting customers who are looking for higher-productivity, high-performance vehicles in the ICV (intermediate commercial vehicle) segment with Boss, the statement added.
"It promises to make our customers more profitable by offering them a tailor-made product solution to meet their needs and will certainly be a game-changer for them," Ashok Leyland special director (distribution trucks) Sandeep Agarwal said.
