(Bloomberg) -- The Aspen Mountain ski resort in Colorado announced plans to reopen over the May 25-27 Memorial Day weekend -- start of the summer travel season -- thanks to another round of late snow.
- Vail Resort Inc.'s Breckenridge Ski Resort as well as the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area in Keystone are currently open, according to the website On The Snow.
- A storm crossed the region overnight with reports of up to 13 inches of new snow in the Colorado Springs area, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
