Tech Mahindra Ltd. Chairperson Anand Mahindra delivered a compelling vision for the company's future, built on the twin pillars of trust and responsible AI, at the annual general meeting of the tech giant.

In an era marked by volatility and rapid technological shifts, Mahindra underscored how trust became the defining currency of business — and artificial intelligence, the competitive edge.

"In this new world of uncertainty, trust is your company's currency, and a deep understanding of AI is its edge," Mahindra remarked, setting the tone for a strategy rooted in ethics and innovation.

He described AI not merely as a tool, but as "a brilliant child prodigy born in a library, with access to the entire world's knowledge". While rich in capability, he emphasised the need for guidance to ensure AI is deployed with accountability and in service of clients and society alike. "Responsible implementation and measurable returns – that is the true test of AI's promise," he said.

Mahindra highlighted how Tech Mahindra's strategy, 'AI Delivered Right', is beginning to yield tangible results. From strengthening consulting services and GCC practices to enhancing customer experience offerings, the company has made strategic leadership hires and fostered an environment of continuous learning. Notably, partnerships with Mahindra University and other institutions are helping to build a future-ready workforce.

"The groundwork has been laid in the first year of our transformation. Tech Mahindra is ready to rise —with confidence, clarity and cohesion," Mahindra concluded, leaving shareholders with cautious optimism for the future.

With a strong foundation, a clear focus on responsible AI and a reaffirmed commitment to trust, Tech Mahindra is positioning itself not just as a technology provider, but as a forward-thinking partner in a rapidly changing digital landscape, he added.
