Adani Electricity earned the Gold Award at the Brandon Hall HR Excellence Awards 2024 held in Florida, according to a press release from the company.

The company was honoured in the Best Leadership Development Programme category for its flagship Adani Marvels Leadership Program.

The A-Marvels Program is a one-year leadership development journey aimed at preparing future leaders with the essential skills and insights required to ensure long-term organizational growth. The programme integrates structured learning modules, personalised coaching and hands-on experiences, creating a comprehensive approach to leadership development.

The awards were evaluated on several criteria, such as innovation, design, creativity, technology application, measurable outcomes, and employee engagement through feedback. Adani Electricity's programme stood out for its significant impact on productivity, employee engagement, and leadership preparedness within the organisation, according to the release.

The Gold Award was presented to Sanjeev Muramkar, chief human resources officer of Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd., at the Brandon Hall Excellence Conference in Florida, US.

"This prestigious award highlights our strong focus on empowering our employees. We believe that investing in our workforce is crucial to our success, and we are committed to equipping them with the tools and knowledge to meet future challenges and deliver on evolving customer demands," Muramkar said.

The Brandon Hall HR Excellence Awards, often regarded as the "Academy Awards of Human Capital Management", recognise innovative programmes and technologies that contribute to the advancement of human resource, talent management and organisational learning, according to release.

Adani Electricity reported on Feb. 25 that it anticipates peak demand to hit 2,200 MW this summer, up from 2,089 MW last year. The company secured additional power supply through a combination of long, medium and short-term contracts to meet the increased demand. This includes 1,300 megawatts from long-term agreements, 500 megawatts from medium-term deals and 700 megawatts from short-term renewable energy sources.
