Bike, Scooter Launches In March 2025: Royal Enfield Classic 650, Bajaj Chetak Among New Rides
Along with the Royal Enfield Classic 650, some of the other bikes that are expected to launch include the TVS Apache RTX 300 and Hero Karizma XMR 250.
After mixed sales volume in February, several two-wheeler launches are expected in March. In February, prominent player Bajaj Auto saw a slight 2% increase in sales, reaching 2,99,418 units (year-on-year). Meanwhile, Royal Enfield reported a 19% (y-o-y) rise in sales at 90,670 units during this period.
On the other hand, TVS Motor logged an overall sales increase of 10% at 391,889 units in Feb. However, its domestic two-wheeler sales grew just by 3% at 2,67,502 units compared to Feb. 2024. Motorcycle sales rose by 5% in Feb. 2025, while scooter sales surged by 24%, reflecting the impact of market conditions and evolving consumer preferences.
Moving into March, here are the expected two-wheeler launches for the month:
Royal Enfield Classic 650
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is set to be launched this month. It shares a similar design with the popular Classic 350. The bike is powered by a 647.95 cc unit and will be available in four dual-tone paint schemes: Black Chrome, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Vallam Red and Teal.
TVS Apache RTX 300
Bike enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the launch of TVS Motor’s first-ever adventure bike in India this month. The TVS Apache RTX 300, powered by the TVS’s new RT-XD4 engine, may launch in March. It was showcased at the Auto Expo in January 2025.
Bajaj Chetak 3503
Bajaj Auto's popular Chetak series unveiled its 35 electric scooter range in December 2024. The series comes in three variants, of which two were released last year. Now, the Chetak 3503 is expected to be launched in March 2025.
Hero Karizma XMR 250
The Hero Karizma XMR 250 is set to hit the Indian market this month. Showcased at the Auto Expo in January 2025, it features a design similar to the smaller Karizma XMR but with unique graphics and bulkier bodywork.
In February, some of the key launch attractions in India included Ola Electric's first electric motorcycles: the Roadster X and the Roadster X+. KTM marked the month with the launch of the 2025 Adventure range in India: 390 Adventure, 390 Adventure X and the 250 Adventure.
Italian manufacturer Vespa introduced its range of new scooters, starting at Rs 1.32 lakh. The latest lineup features four variants of the 125cc Vespa: Base, S, Tech, and S Tech.
