Iran War News Updates: The war between US-Israel and Iran will enter its second month amid diplomatic efforts to cease military hostilities. Yemen's Iran-aligned militant group Houthis have joined the fight with missile attack on Israel on Saturday.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the US can achieve its goals in Iran without sending troops to the war zone. The statement comes days after reports suggested that the US is planning to deploy some 3,000 soldiers from the elite 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East to join operations against Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi warned Israel for targeting country's nuclear facilities and steel plants on Friday. Iran will exact a "heavy price" for Israeli crimes, Araghchi said on X.

US Vice President JD Vance stated that the US is not interested in stretching the war with Iran into another year in a recent interview.

"We are not interested in being in Iran a year down the road, two years down the road. We are taking care of business, we are going to be out of there soon, and gas prices will come back down," JD Vance told commentator Benny Johnson.

Iran War News Live: IRGC Hit US Vessel Off Oman Coast

A spokesperson for IRGC’s Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters said Iranian forces targeted a US military support vessel “at a considerable distance from the port of Salalah in Oman”.

In a statement carried by the semiofficial Tasnim News Agency, it added: “As we previously announced, the national sovereignty of the brotherly and friendly country of Oman is respected by the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Foreign ministers from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt will likely meet in Islamabad for talks on the war in the Middle East, the Pakistani government said on Saturday.

According to reports, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had invited his counterparts and that they would be in the Pakistani capital on Sunday and Monday.

Yemen's Iran-aligned militant group the Houthis have confirmed that they launched an attack on Israel, joining the month-long war.

The group said it launched a barrage of ballistic missiles targeting Israeli military sites located in the south of the occupied West Bank. Earlier, the Israeli army said it detected one missile launched from Yemen. In a statement, the Iran-aligned group said the attack came in light of the targeting of infrastructure and the killing of civilians in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and Palestine, reported AFP.

Iran War News Live: Oman Port Attacked, Operations Halted

Oman’s state news agency ONA said that two drones targeted the port of Salalah, the capital city of southern Dhofar province. The incident resulted in moderate injuries to a foreign worker and minor damage to a crane in the port facilities. Port operations have been suspended.

Iran War News Live: Pilots' Body Flags Concerns Over Flights In Conflict Zones

The Airline Pilots Association of India (ALPA) has written to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Civil Aviation Secretary, raising serious concerns over the continued operation of commercial flights through active conflict zones like the Gulf.

In a letter seen by NDTV Profit, ALPA said commercial airlines do not possess the necessary intelligence and surveillance infrastructure to independently assess evolving threats in active war zones. The association warned that pilots have been repeatedly seeking clarity on the status and validity of their insurance coverage while operating in such high-risk regions.

According to ALPA, no documentary evidence or formal assurance has so far been provided to confirm that adequate war-risk insurance coverage remains valid for crew members operating in or near conflict zones.

Iran War News Live: Indians Injured In Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi’s Government Media Office said that five Indian nationals have been injured by falling debris from intercepted ballistic missiles, reported Al Jazeera.

Their injuries range from moderate to minor, according to the media office. The office earlier said that authorities were working to extinguish two fires caused by falling missile debris in the city’s Khalifa Economic Zones.
