Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection: Aamir Khan's Film Earns Nearly Rs 60 Crore In Three Days

Actor Aamir Khan’s latest movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, witnessed a strong response at the domestic box office in its first weekend with a collection of nearly Rs 60 crore.
Directed by RS Prasanna, the film earned an estimated Rs 10.7 crore on Friday, Rs 20.2 crore on Saturday and Rs 28 crore on Sunday, the data from industry tracker Sacnilk showed on Monday. In the first three days of release, the movie has collected Rs 58.90 crore net in India.

The Hindi-language comedy drama is a sequel to Aamir Khan's 2007 directorial debut, Taare Zameen Par.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh praised the movie on Monday in a post on social media platform X.

Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 4
On its fourth day, the film has earned Rs 96 lakh at the domestic box office so far, as per the early estimates by Sacnilk.com. This figure is based on live advance data and is subject to change at frequent intervals.
On Saturday, Taran Adarsh said that the film opened on a slow note on Friday but gained momentum during the evening shows.
"The opening day began on a slow note, but witnessed a sharp turnaround post 4 pm… In fact, the evening and night shows completely changed the tide…solid word of mouth had come into play," Adarsh said in a post on X on Saturday.

With its ongoing box office performance, Sitaare Zameen Par is on track to soon surpass the net collection of Taare Zameen Par, which had earned Rs 62.95 crore in India.
As per its first weekend collection, Sitaare Zameen Par has surpassed the net collection of Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2, which made Rs 29.5 crore, and Sunny Deol’s Jaat, which made Rs 26.25 crore.
Aamir Khan plays the role of the coach, Gulshan, in this film. The movie, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, also features Genelia D'Souza, Datta and Gopi Krishnan Varma in key roles.
Aamir's 'Taare Zameen Par' was released in 2007, starring Darsheel Safary alongside the actor. In the film, Aamir portrayed the role of a school teacher who helps Safary's character uncover his potential after discovering he has dyslexia.
