The Mohit Suri-directed romantic drama was released in theatres on July 18.

Mohit Suri’s musical romantic drama Saiyaara, which released in theatres on July 18, is now set for its OTT debut. Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film garnered significant attention at the box office and created a buzz on social media as well.
According to media reports, the film is expected to premiere on Netflix on Sept. 12, giving fans the chance to watch it from the comfort of their homes.
While the film's producer, Yash Raj Films, has not yet made an official announcement regarding the OTT release, an Instagram Stories shared by the film's casting director, Shanoo Sharma, hints at a Netflix premiere in September. Both the makers and the streaming platform are expected to confirm the release details officially in the coming weeks.
Directed by Mohit Suri and produced under the Yash Raj Films banner, Saiyaara marked the acting debut of Ahaan Panday, nephew of veteran Bollywood actor Chunky Panday and cousin of Ananya Panday. The female lead, Aneet Padda, earlier appeared in Salaam Venky and the Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry. Saiyaara was her first lead role in a Hindi film.

Saiyaara Box Office Collection
Saiyaara has performed exceptionally well at the box office, raking in Rs 322.6 crore net in India in 27 days, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The film earned Rs 172 crore in its first week, followed by Rs 107.75 crore in the second week. The third week contributed Rs 28.25 crore. On its fourth Wednesday, the romantic drama made Rs 1.25 crore, bringing the total collection to Rs 322.6 crore.
The film has emerged as the second highest-grossing Bollywood release of the year, trailing only Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. It also achieved one of the highest opening weekend collections of the year. Even releases like Dharma Productions’ Dhadak 2 and Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 failed to affect Saiyaara’s box office collection.
However, with new movies such as Coolie and War 2 hitting theatres on Aug. 14, trade analysts like Komal Nahta and Taran Adarsh have predicted a potential dip in Saiyaara’s earnings, reported NDTV.
With the film expected to drop on Netflix soon, those who missed Saiyaara in cinemas will now get an opportunity to catch it online.
