Pushpa 2 Advance Booking: Allu Arjun Starrer Surpasses Rs 30-Crore Mark

Allu Arjun's much anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule has garnered tremendous interest among the audiences. The advance booking collections of the movie indicate a remarkable opening for the action drama.
With the advance booking open now, the film's pre-release collections have witnessed massive growth, indicating the film's blockbuster opening this week. As per film trade tracker Sacnilk, the movie's advance booking collections have already reached over Rs 30 crore for Day 1 (including block seats), with the potential to break the overall opening records of box office giants like Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2 and Pathaan, among others.
According to the latest numbers as of 10 a.m. on Dec. 2, Pushpa 2: The Rule has sold the maximum number of tickets for Telugu 2-D screenings, grossing over Rs 10 crore (Rs 10,65,25,250). With 2,774 shows, it has sold 2,77,542 tickets so far. Moving forward, Pushpa 2's Hindi collections, including 2D and 3D screenings, stand at over Rs 7 crore (7,61,23,954) and over Rs 2.5 crore (2,54,31,819), respectively.
Additionally, with more collections from Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam screenings from across the country, the film's current advance bookings have touched Rs 22.22 crore (without block tickets) and Rs 31.57 crore (with block tickets).
The excitement surrounding Pushpa 2 has already led fans to draw comparisons with mega-blockbusters like Baahubali 2, which created a record by selling 6.5 lakh tickets in 2017. Meanwhile, the single screens in southern states, including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, are witnessing a sharp spike in ticket bookings ahead of the release, with high demands for the Telugu version.

Directed by Sukumar, the film is a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise. While Allu Arjun is returning as Pushpa Raj, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil are also reprising their roles in the movie as Srivalli and Shekhawat, respectively.
Last week, the movie received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The trailer of the sequel was unveiled on November 17 at Patna's jam-packed Gandhi Maidan.
