A video of Tesla CEO Elon Musk teaching children at his experimental pre-school, Ad Astra, has gone viral on social media. The 30-second clip shows Musk explaining concepts of physics and rocket science to a group of young students.
The undated video has surfaced days after Musk stepped down as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Donald Trump administration. The move was aimed at shifting his focus back to his multiple business ventures, including SpaceX.
The video has also been re-shared by Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma on his X (formerly Twitter) account. "These videos will be cool for learning. Hope Elon Musk releases them for wider use. On X," Sharma said on Tuesday.
He reposted the video, which was shared by an X account ‘Doge Designer' that frequently tracks updates related to Musk and his companies.

With over 2,54,000 views, the video has generated significant interest from X users. Many people expressed interest in the concept of Musk's science-focused school. Launched in early 2025, Ad Astra focuses on children from age three to nine.
"I also want to study with this teacher," a comment on the video read.
"This would be such a cool class to take," another user said.
The concept of Ad Astra is based on encouraging children to take an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields. Based in Texas, the school focuses on instilling creativity, exploration and critical thinking from a young age.
According to the school's website, two groups of children are taught in Ad Astra. The 'Primary Program' focuses on children aged three to six and the 'Lower Elementary Program' teaches children aged six to nine.
The school maintains a minimum teacher-to-student ratio of 1:12. For the 2024–25 academic year, tuition was offered at a subsidised fee, the website said.
"In future years, tuition will be in line with local private schools that include an extended day program," it said.
