British music band Coldplay will livestream its Ahmedabad concert on Jan. 26 on Disney+ Hotstar. There has been massive demand for tickets for the popular band's concerts in Mumbai and Ahmedabad with people taking to social media to complain about availability.

"On Jan 26, Coldplay’s biggest ever show will stream LIVE from Ahmedabad across all of India on @DisneyPlusHS," the band said in a post on X.

"We hope you can join us. We're so excited to come to your beautiful country and we hope you're well. Much love," Chris Martin said in a video statement.

The band members of Coldplay, led by lead singer Chris Martin, arrived in Mumbai on Thursday to kick-start their India tour. The Coldplay concerts will be held at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Jan. 18, 19 and 21.

The band will then move on to Ahmedabad where the concerts are scheduled on Jan. 25 and 26 at Narendra Modi stadium.

Two special trains being run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad on Jan. 25 and 26 by Western Railway are set to provide relief for those wanting to attend concerts of Coldplay amid skyrocketing airfares between the two cities.

An official on Thursday said though the two trains are 'winter specials' as per the directive of the Railway Board, these are being operated to clear the extra rush of passengers in view of the Coldplay concerts in Gujarat.

The Thane district authorities have issued a notice to the organisers of Coldplay's upcoming concert in Navi Mumbai, asking them not to allow participation of children 'in any form on stage' at the event.

Also, no child should be allowed to attend the concert without earplugs or hearing protection, the district child protection officer said in a notice to the event organisers.
