Bryan Johnson's Documentary 'Don't Die' To Release On Netflix On This Date

The documentary titled “Don't Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever”, dives into Johnson’s psyche, and has been directed by Chris Smith.

Tech millionaire Bryan Johnson, who shot to fame for his quest to reverse his ageing, on Wednesday shared that his journey will be released as a Netflix documentary named 'Don't Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever'

In a post on social media platform X, Johnson shared a poster of his upcoming Netflix documentary set to release on Jan. 1 next year.

"On @netflix Jan 1. 2025 is the year of don't die," he wrote.

The documentary, which dives into Johnson's psyche, has been directed by Chris Smith. 

"In this documentary, wealthy entrepreneur Bryan Johnson puts his body and fortune on the line to defy ageing and extend his life beyond all known limits," says the description of the documentary on the Netflix website.

Smith has also produced Don't Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever, for Library Films, alongside Ashlee Vance and Daniel Koehler. 

Talking to Netflix's publication Tudum, Smith said that a news headline talking about a man spending $2 million to be 18 again sparked his curiosity.

"That initial curiosity led to a 12-month journey following Bryan Johnson's quest and its effect on those closest to him while interviewing experts from around the world to get a better understanding of the people trying to live healthier, longer," he was quoted as saying by Tudum.

Who Is Bryan Johnson?

Bryan Johnson has been making headlines for the past few years for spending millions on experiments to defy the impact of ageing on his body. The American tech entrepreneur is known for founding Kernel, a neurotechnology firm that makes specially designed helmets to measure brain activities.

The 47-year-old garnered widespread attention with a project called Project Blueprint, in which he invests $2 million per year to reverse his biological age to 18 through a series of experiments and medical treatments. 

He follows a strict diet and a workout routine among others to stop the ageing process. Johnson has also taken controversial treatments like a blood transfusion from his teenage son in his quest to slow and perhaps reverse the process of ageing.
