Actor Jaideep Ahlawat and his wife Jyoti Hooda have expanded their real estate footprint in Mumbai with the acquisition of a second luxury flat in Andheri West. The couple has now spent a total of Rs 20 crore on two properties in the same residential building — Poorna Apartments — within a span of two months.
According to real estate firm Square Yards, which reviewed documents available on the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra website, the latest purchase was formalised and registered in June 2025. The apartment, like the one they acquired earlier in May, was purchased for Rs 10 crore.
The second apartment is situated on a different floor of the same complex and shares the same specifications as the first — a carpet area of 1,950 sq. ft. and a built-up area of 2,341 sq. ft. The newly purchased property includes two car parking spaces. The transaction drew a stamp duty of Rs 60 lakh, along with registration charges of Rs 30,000, the Square Yards report cited from IGR documentation.
The earlier transaction, completed in May 2025, involved an identical apartment in the same project. It was also priced at Rs 10 crore. The flat also consisted of the same carpet and built-up areas and included four parking spaces. The financial breakdown of that deal mirrored the June transaction, with stamp duty and registration charges remaining unchanged.
Located between Mumbai's major commercial and entertainment districts, Andheri West continues to attract high-profile buyers thanks to its connectivity, courtesy of the Western Express Highway, SV Road, Link Road and the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro line. The neighbourhood is known for its fusion of upscale residences, co-working hubs, modern offices, retail spaces and entertainment venues. Square Yards stated that this blend of convenience and vibrancy made Andheri West a prime choice for celebrities, entrepreneurs and many working professionals.
Jaideep Ahlawat is known for his performances in Hindi films and web series. He has carved a niche with roles in Raees (2017) and Raazi (2018). His standout performance as a tough cop in Amazon Prime's Paatal Lok (2020) earned him the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. Most recently, he starred opposite Saif Ali Khan in Netflix's Jewel Thief (2025).
With this back-to-back property acquisition, Ahlawat joins a growing list of film industry personalities making investments in Mumbai's luxury residential market.
