X Fold 5: Slim Design Meets Flagship Performance
The X Fold 5 has garnered attention for being one of the slimmest foldable phones that still manages to house a 6,000mAh battery. It weighs 217 gm and measures 0.92 cm when folded and 0.43 cm when unfolded, according to Vivo’s official website.
The specifications listed also state that the X Fold 5 will offer premium features such as 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. It will also come with advanced water and dust resistance ratings (IPX8, IPX9, and IP5X), along with freeze resistance down to -20°C.
Performance-wise, the device is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is boosted by a suite of AI-powered tools such as AI Magic Move, AI Erase and AI Image Expander. It will also include Vivo’s multitasking-friendly Workbench feature and a physical Shortcut Button for quick app access, according to Vivo’s official website.
The camera setup includes a triple 50-megapixel array, co-developed with Zeiss. The inner foldable display could offer peak brightness levels of up to 4,500 nits, making it one of the brightest in its category.
X200 FE: Compact Flagship With Impressive Specifications
The X200 FE, expected to be a rebadged version of the S30 Pro Mini, aims to deliver high-end features in a more compact form. It will have a 6.31-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. According to Vivo’s official website, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
Other features expected include a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. It also includes a triple-lens rear camera system, featuring a 50MP main sensor, 50MP telephoto lens and 8MP ultra-wide lens, again developed in partnership with Zeiss.
The X200 FE also carries an IP68 and IP69 rating, offering resistance against dust and water.
