To enable this, users need to open the Control Centre, tap the plus icon and add the Apple Intelligence section for instant access to AI tools.
2) Action button gets Visual Intelligence support
For iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 users, the Action button now supports Visual Intelligence, which is Apple's object recognition tool. Using this feature, users can quickly scan objects with their camera and either perform a web search or ask ChatGPT for more details. To enable it, users need to go to Settings > Action Button and select Visual Intelligence as the preferred function.
3) New Vision Pro companion app
For Vision Pro users, the iOS 18.4 update brings a dedicated companion app that allows them to browse and download immersive content directly from their iPhone. The app also offers tips on how to improve the mixed-reality experience.
4) Pause app downloads easily
Managing app installations is now more convenient with the ability to pause downloads directly from the App Store update list. Earlier, users had to either cancel an installation or use a workaround to stop downloads. With iOS 18.4, just tapping the pause button will provide better control over updates, especially when using limited data.
5) Prioritising notifications
This feature is beneficial for those struggling with an overload of notifications. The Priority Notifications feature in iOS 18.4 ensures that most important alerts appear prominently on the Lock Screen.
