These Apple iPhones Will Be Compatible With iOS 19, While Support For Others Might Drop
Apple is expected to unveil iOS 19 at the Worldwide Developers Conference starting June 9.

As Apple prepares to unveil iOS 19 at the Worldwide Developers Conference starting June 9, anticipation is high over what the software update will bring. Apple is tipped to make significant design changes with iOS 19 and iPadOS 19, bring in a more visionOS-Style interface, make updates to Siri, and improve Apple Intelligence.
However, when it comes to which iPhones will be supported by iOS 19, it won't be all smooth-sailing. Some devices will be left behind, with Apple reportedly discontinuing support for them.
These iPhones Will Be Compatible With iOS 19
MacRumors has found a new leak from a “private account on X” that purports to show which iPhones will be able to run iOS 19 later this year. It appears that in 2024, that same account correctly shared iOS 18 compatibility with iPhones.
As per the leak, the iPhones listed below will be compatible with iOS 19:
iPhone 16e, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max.
iPhone SE (second generation or later).
These iPhones May No Longer Be Supported By iOS 19
If the above list is any indication, it means iOS 19 will drop support for the below iPhones:
iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR (launched in 2018).
Any older iPhones.
This also means that older iPhone models will, as usual, miss out on some features. Apple Intelligence, for instance, will be available only on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 models, and the upcoming iPhone 17 series.
With the WWDC less than two months away, speculation will make way for news, and more clear picture on what iOS 19 brings with it will emerge.
