Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 May Pack Bigger Display, Battery Boost Over Galaxy Z Flip 6
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 has reportedly gone into production and may hit the shelves in a few months.

It’s raining good news for those who love the “flip.”
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 has reportedly gone into production and may hit the shelves in a few months. According to a tipster, who wrote on the device’s status on X (formerly Twitter), the flip phone is in its manufacturing phase. So yes, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 might well meet its July launch timeline.
But the good news doesn’t end at the production front but goes to Galaxy Z Flip 7 features as well.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 May Pack Taller, Wider Display
In comparison to the Z Flip 6, the next-generation Z Flip 7 may have a larger screen. The clamshell’s display size was revealed in a slightly cryptic tweet by frequent tipster Max Jambor. The tweet says: B7 Display: 161.57 x 69.96 mm, which is roughly 6.36 by 2.63 inches. These measurements are for the main screen when open, and the cover display’s measurements weren’t provided.
Also, according to the tipster, the Z Flip 7 will measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm. This will make it a tad taller and broader than the Z Flip 6, which measures 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm when open.
As per Sammy Guru, B7 is the internal codename assigned to the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Sammy Guru also hinted that the cover screen will encompass the entire upper part of the phone’s backside, plus the aspect ratio will be slightly wider at 22:9.53 compared to the Z Flip 6’s 22:9.
A Bigger Battery For Galaxy Z Flip 7?
In a different report altogether, Samsung’s forthcoming clamshell, with model codes EB-BF766ABE and EB-BF767ABE, was seen in a UL Demko certification platform. According to the article, the Z Flip 7’s charging reached 4,174mAh.
Based on earlier speculations, this would translate to a battery capacity of 4,300mAh. This implies that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 might get a battery boost over the Z Flip 6, which packs a slightly smaller 4,000mAh cell.
However, nothing is official yet, so all the grapevine should be taken with a pinch of salt.
