Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad 2 series in India. Customers can purchase it from Amazon, Flipkart and retail stores starting June 24.
The gadget comes with a 11-inch 2.5K display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a 10-bit display. It has a 90 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits.
A MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra SoC chipset powers the device. It comes with 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB RAM configurations and storage capacities of 128 GB and 256 GB, which can be expanded up to 2 TB. It runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.
The gadget is equipped with an 8 MP primary camera with an LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. These cameras can record HD (720p) and full HD (1080p) at 30fps (frames per second).
It has a quad speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos. The tablet offers support for using a smart pen.
The Redmi Pad 2 has a 9,000 mAh battery, which supports 18 W wired charging. It has dimensions of 254.58 × 166.04 × 7.36 mm and weighs 510 g.
Its connectivity features include 4G SIM slot, WiFi 5, 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. It comes with an accelerometer, a virtual ambient light sensor, and a hall sensor.
The tablet is available in two colour variants— blue and grey.
Redmi Pad 2 Price In India
The WiFi-only version with 4 GB RAM + 128 GB configuration is priced at Rs 13,999. The Wi-Fi + 4G variant, with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, is priced at Rs 15,999, while the 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage option costs Rs 17,999.
Along with the tablet, Xiaomi is offering the Pad 2 Cover at Rs 1,299 and the Redmi Smart Pen at Rs 3,999.
