Realme Narzo 80 Pro And Narzo 80x Launched In India: Price, Specs, Features And More

Chinese smartphone maker Realme launched the Narzo 80 Pro 5G and Narzo 80x 5G in India on Wednesday, featuring the newly released powerful MediaTek Dimensity chipsets. The launch event took place at 12:30 p.m. The limited-period sale for the Narzo 80x begins on April 11 at 6:00 p.m., while the Narzo 80 Pro is available for early access starting April 9 at 6:00 p.m.

The devices come with a range of launch offers and student benefit programmes.

Realme has positioned the Narzo 80 Pro as the top gaming phone with a price tag starting under Rs 20,000, while the base version of Narzo 80x is priced under Rs 14,000. Both devices are advertised as top-tier waterproof and shockproof with an IP69 rating.

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro packs impressive features for performance and gaming. It’s powered by the Dimensity 7400 chipset, offering smooth multitasking and high-speed gaming. With a 6000mAh battery and 80W ultra-fast charging, it charges in just 10 minutes for 3 hours of gameplay, the Realme website states. The 4500 nits Hyperglow esports display provides sharp visuals even under direct sunlight. The model also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and 90 FPS support to ensure a smooth gaming experience. 

At just 179g and 7.55mm thick, it’s lightweight and has an ergonomic design for comfort of the users. The Cyclone VC cooling system keeps the CPU cool, delivering 11.7 hours of BGMI and over 18 hours of YouTube, Realme said.

On the other hand, Realme Narzo 80x comes with its advantages for a relatively cheaper price. The device is powered by Dimensity 6400 5G chipset. It comes with a 6000mAh Titan battery and 45W fast charging, offering up to two days of battery life on a single charge. The phone boasts a Speed Wave pattern design with military-grade shock resistance. Weighing 197g and just 7.94mm thick, it remains slim and sleek. Additionally, it offers a Free Call feature, enabling emergency calls without a mobile signal or internet.
