OnePlus 13 Mini's Launch In China Expected In May — Here's What We Know

Following the launch of the OnePlus 13 series in China, the brand is reportedly working on a small flagship smartphone.

Expected to be named the OnePlus 13T mini, the device may compete directly with Apple's iPhone 16e and Google's Pixel 9a upon its arrival in the market.

The OnePlus 13T mini may be the cheapest smartphone featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset, along with a 6,000 mAh battery and a 50MP dual-camera setup.

Though the name of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone has not been revealed, leaks suggest that it has already received 3C (China Compulsory Certification). This certification is mandatory for selling products in China, ensuring they meet the country's safety and quality standards.

• Display: The upcoming device is expected to feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

• Camera: The device may include a dual camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Reportedly, the mini version of the OnePlus 13 will ditch the circular camera module for the horizontal-bar-shaped module.

• Battery: The upcoming phone may arrive with a 6000 mAh battery and 80W fast charging.

• Processor: The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is likely to run on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15.

The OnePlus 13 mini is expected to be priced at 3,099 yuan (approximately Rs 37,000), as per the leaks. 

The OnePlus 13 Mini is expected to be launched around May in China. However, there is no confirmation whether the OnePlus 13 mini will launch in India.

OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R in India. OnePlus 13 comes with a 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO display, while the OnePlus 13R has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ LTPO screen.

OnePlus 13 starts at Rs 69,999 for a 256 GB model, while OnePlus 13R starts at Rs 49,999 for a 128 GB model.
