Samsung has rolled out the One UI 7 update for Galaxy devices. According to the company, the new AI-powered interface will make it easier for users to engage with their Galaxy devices, with more control and personalisation. The upgrade, beginning with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6, will be made available to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets over time.

Here’s a look at how One UI 7 will help users with its AI-powered features and interface and enhance the Galaxy experience.

AI Features

One UI 7 will give users access to a host of AI features. Some of them include:

  • AI Select makes recommendations in an intuitive manner. 

  • With Writing Assist, users may quickly summarise or automatically format content. 

  • Drawing Assist helps bring concepts to life using written prompts and photos/sketches.

  • Audio Eraser makes sophisticated editing possible by separating sound categories and eliminating extraneous noise from videos.

Improved Google Gemini Integration

One UI 7 has deeper Google Gemini integration to resolve users queries ranging from restaurants to pet-friendly hotels to theatres. Natural language search is now integrated in Settings, for users to adjust preferences like screen brightness and more. 

Revamped Home Screen

One UI 7 offers Galaxy users a streamlined and unified experience with its simple yet new design. Users can customises their devices with a revamped lock screen, One UI widgets, and a simpler home screen. 

Now Bar

The Now Bar offers important real-time updates directly on the lock screen for increased convenience. With just a swipe and no phone unlocking, users can quickly check apps like music player, interpreter, and stop watch or what song is playing in their Galaxy Buds.
