Samsung has announced the availability of Galaxy AI features on more Galaxy devices through the One UI 7 beta programme. The programme is designed to offer more natural and seamless mobile artificial intelligence experience. The beta programme will be available for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Samsung Z Flip6 in India, Korea, the UK and the US starting from March 6. It will be rolled out to more devices within the month, including Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55.
One UI 7's official upgrade will be accessible in April. Through the Samsung Members portal, users can apply to join in the beta programme.
One UI 7 Capabilities
Integrating AI agents with multimodal capabilities into different touch points of the interface, One UI 7 creates a new mobile experience where interactions feel more intuitive and seamless.
Notably, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S25 series phones run the One UI 7 software, which is based on Android 15. Samsung claims that it is incorporated into the main operating system.
According to Samsung, the One UI 7 software is even smarter with the addition of more Galaxy AI functions and a redesigned “Now Bar” for more handy alerts. Using Now Bar, users can display information such as live notifications, music, or modes and routines on the lock screen of their devices.
A customised briefing of chosen content is offered via the Now Brief, which is updated all day long. Based on the user’s lifestyle, Now Brief automatically generates customised information, such as: energy levels and sleep patterns; notifications of important expiration dates of tickets for events, trains, flights, and coupons; tailored reminders for phone calls, missed appointments, etc.
One UI 7 powers the Galaxy devices with individualised AI experiences, recognising the context of user demands and preferences, along with privacy. Other noteworthy AI features enabled by One UI 7 include live video streaming, screen sharing, and call transcripts straight on the call screen.
