Smartphone maker Motorola is set to unveil the new-generation Moto Edge 60 Fusion in India on April 2. The launch follows nearly a year after Motorola unveiled its Edge 50 Fusion smartphone in May 2024.
Ahead of the launch, new leaks confirm the availability of four colour options for the mid-range segment smartphone. The leaks, shared by GSM Arena, showcase the phone in pink, green, blue and purple. While it's still not clear what these colour options will be named, Motorola could use Pantone colour names for the device, thanks to the company's partnership with the American firm. The Motorola branding can be seen on the back of the device, at the centre.
The upcoming phone is expected to feature a curved display. It will also sport a unique triple camera setup, complete with an LED flash.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Expected Features
As per previous reports, Moto Edge 60 Fusion is set to become the first smartphone to use MediaTek's new Dimensity 7400 chipset. The phone's camera unit will reportedly feature a 50 MP Sony LYT700 main sensor, paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device is likely to have a 32 MP front camera. From the leaks, the camera setup appears to be similar to the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. This suggests that the upcoming model might retain a configuration similar to that of its predecessor.
Reports also indicate that Moto Edge 60 Fusion could come with a massive 5,500mAh battery capacity, with fast charging abilities for enhanced performance. However, details on the charging specifications are yet to be confirmed.
The device is likely to sport a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate. As mentioned, the device is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset built using TSMC's 4nm technology. This chipset could feature four Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.60GHz and four Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz.
In terms of storage, the handset is likely to get 8GB and 12GB RAM paired with 256GB of onboard storage. Motorola is expected to offer up to 1TB of extended storage via a microSD card.
