Meta is developing a feature that will allow you to add up to 10 topics to your bio, helping you customise your profile and display your favourite communities and interests to profile visitors.
You can connect with individuals who share your interests and make it simpler for them to find you by tapping a topic on someone’s profile, which will start a conversation about it.
In order to assist your audience find your posts, you will now be prompted when drafting posts to include a suggested trending topic or one that is connected to posts you have already shared. To help you quickly access the topics you are interested in, Meta has also changed the timely topics tag to make it more noticeable on items in the For You feed.

There are now more options to control how others interact with your posts and the ones you view. You can now choose to allow replies and quote-posts only from your followers, an extension of the Quote Controls function, which helps control who can interact with your postings.
Meta has also revised how it handles political submissions and has begun reintroducing civic information into Threads in a more tailored manner. The order of your feeds can now be customised as well. For example, you can set your app to launch using a custom feed you have built as the default.
Improved Video On Threads
There are also new pause, play, and skip controls that make watching videos easier. To make it simpler to go back and forth in videos, Meta has now included a pinned progress bar in the player too.
