Meta is migrating Threads, its microblogging platform, from Threads.net to Threads.com, and adding new features to improve the web experience.

The company said that new updates will make it easier for users to view their custom feeds, access liked and saved posts, and share Threads posts on other apps.

What's New In Threads?

Below are the updates made on Threads:

  • Users can now see their custom feeds at the top of the web page when using a single column layout, in the same order that they do on mobile devices.

  • Through the main menu icon, users may access saved and liked posts, making it simple to go back and review conversations that catch their attention.

  • Users can quickly personalise their display by adding a column; just click the new column icon on the right side of the screen.

  • To incorporate a Threads post into Instagram and other apps, users can now copy it as an image rather than a screenshot.

  • Users can post whenever anything inspires them by using the pop up composer that appears when clicking the "+" button in the lower right corner of the page. This composer follows you as you browse through your feeds.

Meta is also testing a new feature that allows users to upload the list of people they follow on other apps to Threads, starting with X. This is intended to make it easier to quickly connect with people who have a presence on multiple platforms, while helping creators grow their audience on Threads.

Other Threads Web Features

With Threads Web, users can keep up with conversations that are important to them by adding several feeds or keeping things simple with just one column. Users can also enable auto-update to view newly added content instantly.

In addition to feeds, users can create a customised home by adding columns for profiles, saved and liked posts, activity, insights, and favourite searches. Additionally, users can rearrange and prioritise the items they want to view by dragging and dropping columns.
