Latest Leak Reveals iPhone 17 Series Colour Options, Check Expected Variants

As the expected launch of the iPhone 17 series approaches, leaks and rumours have been revealing new updates about the latest lineup from Apple. Now, a latest leak has revealed the colour options for the entire iPhone 17 series.

A report by Macworld has shared details about the possible colour variants for the iPhone 17 series. According to Macworld, Apple is likely to offer distinct colour variants for the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air, which will help to differentiate between the two models. The standard iPhone 17 is likely to be offered in the following shades:

·       Black (identical to iPhone 16)

·       White (identical to iPhone 16)

·       Steel Gray (based on  Pantone 18-4005-TPG)

·       Green (based onPantone 2282 U)

·       Purple (based onPantone 530 U)

·       Light Blue (based on Pantone 658 U)

This contrasts with the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus having identical colour options.

On the other hand, as per the Macworld report, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to launch in four colours:

·       Black (matching the shade used in the iPhone 16)

·       White (a cooler, more luminous tone compared to the iPhone 16)

·       Pale Blue (inspired by Pantone 657 U)

·       Soft Gold (resembling Pantone 11-0604 TPG Gardenia)

The blue variant of the iPhone 17 Air is expected to be lighter than that of the standard iPhone 17. Reports suggest that Apple is deliberately opting for softer, less intense hues for the iPhone 17 Air to emphasise its lightweight design. The device is anticipated to weigh approximately 145 grams and measure just 5.5 mm in thickness.

Macworld claims Apple is also introducing fresh colour finishes for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models:

·       Black (carried over from the iPhone 16 Pro)

·       White (identical to the shade on the iPhone 16 Pro)

·       Grey (similar to Natural Titanium tone)

·       Deep Blue (inspired by Pantone 19-4025 TPG Mood Indigo)

·       Orange (similar to Pantone 1501243 TCX Papaya)

According to a report by tipster Majin Bu, Apple was reportedly testing purple and green colour options for the standard iPhone 17. The same source also suggests that the iPhone 17 Air is expected to come in a lighter variant of blue.

Another tipster, Sonny Dickson, claimed dark blue and copper as new colour options for the iPhone 17 Pro models.

As per Macworld, the blue version of the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to closely resemble the Blue Titanium finish that was featured on the iPhone 15 Pro. Apple is also reportedly making a shift from titanium to aluminium for the iPhone 17 Pro, a change that may have led to the updated colour options.
