Is Your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ready For Android 15? One UI 7 Update Drops Next Week
The update will roll out to just a few regions and then expand gradually across the globe until the end of April.

Big news for Galaxy S23 users! The new Android 15-based One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S23 lineup is almost ready to roll out and might greet you by next week.
The slight delay on the update rollout was caused by a small technical glitch. When the update rolled out in South Korea, many users reported some problems, which are now fixed by Samsung. Along with the upcoming Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 models, the Galaxy S24 series were the first devices to get the stable version. However, it is now the time of the S23 series.
Canadian telecom provider Telus has recently updated that the Android 15-based update for Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra devices will be released on April 22. That’s just around the corner!
The update will roll out to just a few regions and then expand gradually across the globe until the end of April. Rollout timings may vary slightly depending on location or carrier. It might actually show up a bit earlier or later for some users based on where they are located.
In March 2025, Samsung began to launch One UI 7 beta for the S23 series, allowing early adopters to test new features and give feedback. Initially, the company aimed to release the stable version in October 2024; however, delays have extended its timeline.
After months of testing, fine tuning, and user input, the stable version is ready. Samsung hopes to achieve a smooth and reliable experience with improved performance and fewer bugs.
In May 2025, the update will roll out to other models like the Galaxy S23 FE and other flagship phones in a phased rollout.
If you’re on a Galaxy S23, hang tight because your phone is about to take on a fresh new face and feel completely renewed.
