Apple is widely expected to announce iPhone SE 4 launch in March or April of 2025. It may even be named as a part of the iPhone 16 series. Notably, it may get dubbed as iPhone 16a. However, it is not the name change that is garnering attention. With Apple a little on the backfoot because Samsung has been stealing the artificial intelligence (AI) thunder with its smartphones and that means the US tech major may well want to launch an iPhone quickly that will shock and awe and thereby put the spotlight firmly back on itself. Notably, this is something that the iconic Apple founder Steve Jobs was so famous for.

But wait, that is not all! iPhone SE 4 price will firmly make it the most affordable iPhone. Yes, it will be more affordable than the iPhone 16 series.

The iPhone 16 is powered by Apple’s latest A18 chip for top-of-the-line performance. It is considered as one of the best, if not the best, smartphone in the world, depending on whom you ask. It’s believed that the SE 4 could rely on the same processor (or at least the A17 Pro used in the iPhone 15 Pro). If true, the iPhone SE 4 could be a smoother experience at a lower price. It’s also rumoured to boast 8GB of RAM just like the iPhone 16, for improved multitasking and AI function.

The iPhone SE 4, unlike the iPhone 16, is expected to have a single camera. But if Apple adds its 'Fusion Camera' technology, it could still provide high-quality zoomed shots without its ultra-wide lens. With technology improving exponentially with the help of Apple Intelligence, then the iPhone SE 4 camera may well deliver quality beyond all expectations.

iPhone SE 4, like the iPhone 16, could include a 6.1-inch display with edges that are a bit flat. However, the SE4 might not come with Dynamic Island or a matte finish.

If the leaks prove right, the iPhone SE 4 will bring impressive AI features with its performance at a fraction of the cost of the iPhone 16, presenting a good value for Apple fans.
