iPhone SE 4 Launch: This Amazing New Feature Likely In Cards
The iPhone SE 4 is set to launch next week with a brand new feature. It may also offer an iPhone 14-like design, a 48MP camera, and a 6.1-inch display. iPhone SE 4 price may be around Rs 49,900.
The Apple iPhone SE 4, which will replace the previous iPhone SE 3 model in the series is set to launch next week. Yes, next week and not in March or April as earlier speculated. And those eager to buy a brand new smartphone from the company that is both affordable, offers top-notch specs and features and is as large as a normal smartphone (iPhone SE series phones have been small and light) will be eager to know what special things it may offer.
Earlier, the SE series used to boast some top features, but appealed to a rather limited clientele - it had a 4.7-inch LCD screen. This time, the iPhone SE 4 series is expected to appeal to every potential smartphone buyer in size and specs, especially those who don't want to pay the high prices of the current iPhone 16 series - the base version is available at $799 or Rs 79,900 in India. The top end iPhone 16 Pro Max is priced at $1,199 and Rs 1,59,900 here. iPhone SE 4 price is expected at just under $500 and Rs 49,900 in India. Yes, it will be costlier than the iPhone SE 3, which was launched priced at $429 or 43,900 in India.
However, expectations are that some of the best features available on iPhone 16, will be available on iPhone SE 4 and in fact, there might be something exclusive too. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman it will pack an in-house modem that Apple ha been testing. However, it is debatable whether it will actually end up beating Qualcomm's modems that Apple currently uses on its top phones like the iPhone 16 Pro. WIll it affect performance? The jury is still out on that one.
However, Gurman says it may work well with the main processor (maybe A18) and be battery friendly by preserving power, and work more efficiently.
Another big feature that may also be available is Apple Intelligence. With the global use skyrocketing, an iPhone without an AI boost will be an anomaly. And as per reports, iPhone SE 4 will offer full AI support and that means 8GB RAM too will be available.
Another likely highlight is that there may well be an edge-to-edge screen design on this new smartphone.
Among the other expectations are a chip that may rival the one on iPhone 16, a body that may resemble an iPhone 14, a new name that may include the iPhone SE 4 in the iPhone 16 family (iPhone 16e), 48 MP main camera and a 6.1-inch OLED screen.
