Apple typically releases new iPhones in September and is likely to stick to the timeframe this time too. Pricing of the iPhone 17 Pro is likely to begin from just under Rs 1,25,000 in India, which is higher than the iPhone 16 Pro's initial price of Rs 1,19,900. So, when it comes to making a purchase, not every latest iPhone is outstandingly different from its previous generation. In fact, that applies to other companies too with the newly-launched Samsung Galaxy S25 not being too different from the Galaxy S24, putting potential buyers in a quandary on whether to save some money buying last year's model rather than the latest pricey flagship.

5 Expected Changes In iPhone 17 Pro
1. New Design and Camera Layout

For all those who love selfies, the front camera is likely to get a bump up to 24MP from the 12MP camera on current models.
3. A19 Pro Chip
Whenever a new iPhone is launched, Apple looks to snatch the fastest smartphone around tag for itself. It will be attempting to do so this time too with the iPhone 17 Pro. It is expected to be powered by the A19 Pro chip, with 2nm advancements. The iPhone 17 Pro is definitely expected to be the fastest iPhone yet. And considering the past hiccups on the issue, it is expected to deliver much improved AI features.
4. Better Battery Life And Faster Charging
With the latest chip aboard, battery life is expected to get a slight improvement. This could well be despite the much improved, but fuel-hungry AI component. Faster wired and MagSafe charging speeds are expected too in comparison to the older model. The new iPhone may also have a battery that is easier to take out.
5. iOS 19 With AI Features
