iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Air Leak Hints At Huge Design Changes

The iPhone 16e may not have shocked and awed as much as fans expected, but all attention, has quickly shifted to the upcoming Apple iPhone 17 series. And expectedly, some amazing leaks have shed light on what may well be coming when these iPhones, including iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Air, are finally launched. And now, a massive iPhone 17 Pro leak has shed further light on these smartphones and it hints at huge design changes.

Although there is nothing official about it, this leak has acquired momentum as it is by Majin Bu, a reliable Apple tracker.

So, what do we have when it comes to the launch of Apple iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Air. Yes, the Plus variant is missing as Apple is most likely to replace it with the iPhone 17 Air, which is likely a very "slim" addition to the series.

The latest iPhone 17 leak has provided a sneak peek, via some stunning computer-aided design (CAD) renders, at the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Air rear camera design.

The designs were shared by Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial) and these showed the base variant, the iPhone 17, looks more or less like the iPhone 16. It has a vertical camera system.

The iPhone 17 Air has just one camera on the rear and it is aligned horizontally with the camera bump. Considering that it is such a thin smartphone, the changes to the camera were widely expected as there would not be enough room to accommodate two cameras in that tight space.

And then come the big brothers - iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. They look to have acquired dual-toned back panels plus a square camera bump.

In the meanwhile, and notably so, leaks are indicating that the upcoming Google Pixel 9a will lose the huge camera bump that is on the earlier Pixel phones. And curiously, this iPhone leak suggests that here is Apple likely increasing its bump in its most expensive smartphones.

However, before believing any leak, you should understand that, when it comes to Apple, very few analysts or tipsters are able to get their predictions right. The latest Apple launch confirmed this. iPhone 16e was expected to be a bigger avatar of iPhone SE 4, but Apple actually killed the SE series. iPhone 16e was expected to be affordable at $499, yet Apple priced it at $599. Yes, everyone got blindsided by Apple.
