On Jan. 22, the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to make its formal debut. These smartphones’ specifications, designs, functions, and even prices have all been leaked extensively. However, recent leaks provide some information on the new Samsung Galaxy AI features.

Popular tipster @Ahmed Qwaider claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 will have a number of innovative AI-powered capabilities. With One UI 7, Samsung is concentrating on increasing the intelligence of its smartphones. Additionally, Technoblog, a Brazilian publication, has reportedly obtained documents showing certain AI features of the upcoming Samsung devices.

If these features do show up in the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, it will be advantage Samsung in the race for AI. Apple’s staggered rollout of and problems with Apple Intelligence has already disappointed many fans, and its iPhone 16 series has drawn flak for its lack of innovative AI features.

Leaked Galaxy AI Features

According to the leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series can have the following AI features:

YouTube Notes

These notes will provide a written summary of a YouTube video’s content, which will be then added to the Samsung Notes app. According to one of the leaked pictures by Technoblog, when the user asks, “Hey Google Gemini, list the places mentioned in this video and save a Note,” the smartphone summarises YouTube videos and creates a new note with the details.

Now Brief

Technoblog’s leak describes the Samsung Galaxy S25 series’ Now Brief feature, which offers quick access to contextual information according to the time of day. Leaked images of Now Brief include the following: a morning overview of the day’s weather, the user’s energy score (perhaps obtained from a wearable device), and the day’s events schedule; a brief for the commute, which initiates music and navigation automatically and suggests a coffee shop depending on available coupons; and an evening recap that highlights the day’s “memorable moments” and the accomplishment of daily activity objectives.

Music Search

Music Search will reportedly assist users in recognising a song and its artists. However, whether the feature will identify information about the music playing nearby or on the phone remains to be seen.

Homework AI

Similar to Google’s Circle to Search feature, Homework AI offers a methodical approach to solving equations. The feature will provide the necessary steps involved, making work and education easier.

Routines

One well-known function in the Galaxy smartphone is Routines. It will now additionally make recommendations for things like music, shows, or even GPS directions while you’re driving based on your habits and patterns.

According to another tipster (@chunvn8888), the Galaxy S25 will include proprietary AI features powered by Google Gemini. Those features might also be made public soon.

In effect, Apple's initial go-slow strategy on AI has put the company behind the curve against rivals and the latest developments at Samsung are likely to increase its problems.
