Samsung Electronics has unveiled Samsung Vision AI at the CES 2025 First Look event, delivering artificial intelligence-powered screens for users. The company also showcased the latest flagship Neo QLED 8K QN990F and updates to its Lifestyle TVs and future display technologies.

Vision AI

Vision AI aims to make Samsung TVs more aware of its surroundings, adaptive to user preferences and autonomous in delivering features. It has features such as Click to Search, which offers information about what's on screen; Live Translate, which provides real-time subtitle translations; and Generative Wallpaper, which allows users to make their screens dynamic and personalised to match their taste or occasion.

Samsung is also integrating screens with its SmartThings ecosystem, with Home Insights providing real-time updates about users’ household environment. Pet and Family Care keeps an eye on pets and family members, automatically adjusts room settings like dimming the lights when a child falls asleep, and provides real-time updates and recorded events through TVs.

AI-Powered Screens

Samsung Vision AI features are now integrated across its TV lineup, including Neo QLED, OLED and QLED, and Frame models. The company debuted two 8K Neo QLED TVs, QN990F and QN900F, which are powered by the latest NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor. The TVs improve lower-resolution content up to 8K quality, and pack AI features that improve visual and sound quality, such as Auto HDR Remastering Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, Color Booster Pro, and AI Mode.

Additionally, Samsung is providing a wider choice of TV sizes. Along with its first official 100-inch TV, the QN85F, it is offering 98-inch variants for the QN990F and QN900F.

Art Store Expansion And The Frame Pro

Samsung is expanding its Art Store and launching The Frame Pro, a new addition to the Frame lineup. Together, these innovations reinforce Samsung’s mission to make art more accessible, personal and seamlessly integrated into daily life.

Samsung Art Store now features over 3,000 curated art works, which will be available not only on the Frame and Micro LED series but also on Neo QLED and QLED models, offering more users the chance to make screens their personalised art galleries.

Powered by the NQ4 Gen3 AI processor, the Frame Pro will offer advanced Neo QLED picture quality, delivering improved colours and contrasts, for both artworks and video content, according to Samsung.
