Apple fans, get ready! Apple may launch the long-awaited iPhone SE 4 in the coming months. Recent images of dummy units reveal the design and this may well be what users can expect from the upcoming smartphone. If rumours are true, the Apple iPhone SE 4 could arrive as the iPhone 16e with a design similar to that of the iPhone 14.

Dummy black and white units of the iPhone SE 4 appeared on X , which was posted by a tipster by the name of Sonny Dickson. On the first instance, it resembles the iPhone 14 in design with a single camera at the top left corner of the rear side complete with an LED flash. Many of the features are retained from previous versions – the flat sides, aluminium frame, and button layout. The Action Button is absent from the design; instead, there are volume controls and a mute switch on the left side, as well as the SIM slot.

Considering that this is the cheapest smartphone in the Apple lineup, the specs and features are very much on fans' minds. The iPhone SE 4 might feature a 6.06-inch Full-HD+ LTPS OLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. It is expected that the familiar physical home button will be removed, and it might be replaced with the Face ID. Charging the device could be through Apple’s latest A18 Bionic chip, coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM for sharp and smooth performance.

The phone is also expected to have a single 48-megapixel rear camera, a USB Type-C port, and a metal frame with the possibility of being water-resistant.

The iPhone SE 4 launch date is expected to be in the March-April period. The iPhone SE 4 price may start below $500 (approximately Rs 42,000). However, for the same in South Korea, it may be available in retail stores for over KRW 8,00,000 which is approximately Rs 46000.

With these features and price, the iPhone SE 4 can become a disruptor at the higher end of the budget smartphones' segment. The official announcement is expected soon.
