iPhone SE 4 launch is expected anytime and some are saying its release date is today. The iPhone has grabbed attention simply because it is no longer likely to be a smallish smartphone. Not just a booster shot in terms of size, iPhone SE 4 is likely to boast some top-end specifications and perhaps, even be known with a different moniker - iPhone 16e.
And now, it looks like Apple's next budget-friendly iPhone has gotten an early reveal courtesy an oops moment that was captured! The rumoured iPhone SE 4 has reportedly been leaked - it shows nearly the complete variant of the expected iPhone. Whether it was a mistake and the real smartphone was leaked, or it was someone playing tricks, is not known but the page was soon taken down by Spigen. However, alert netizens were quick on the uptake, and images of the device flooded the internet.
These aren’t official Apple photos, but the design lines up with what was being reported by trusted sources including Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who said recently that the iPhone SE 4 might launch in just a few days.
A Modern Look With Face ID
And if these pictures are to be believed, then the long-awaited departure from an old design has finally arrived, as the iPhone SE ditches it in favour of something genuinely more modern.
As indicated above, there is a lot of talk that the iPhone SE 4 launch may see it being dubbed as iPhone 16e. And there are certain aspects it may borrow from that phone. However, overall, it will likely follow the iPhone 14 spec sheet. That means no more home button, and no Touch ID. Instead, Face ID will be the default unlocking method. The presence of the Dynamic Island is also being fiercely debated as well as a new button on the side.
There is a single camera lens on the back, it is rumoured to have a 48MP sensor. The leaked images also show that the action button has been changed to replace the classic mute switch. The transition to a USB-C system is likely because of the new rules.
Expected Price And Launch Date
The iPhone SE 4 would likely be costlier but might not be more than $500. This is still significantly cheaper than the iPhone 16, which which comes with a powerful A18 chip and is priced at $799.
