Some complained that BookMyShow was showing error after managing to get through the queue and selecting the block while booking the tickets in a stadium for the ICC men's T20 World Cup 2026.
Indian fans vented out their anger at BookMyShow after they faced several issues on Thursday while trying to book tickets for the ICC men's T20 World Cup 2026.
Many were unable to book the tickets due to a massive wait time on BMS. The India versus Pakistan match saw the most demand, with BMS showing a 30,000-plus queue.

An X user commented on a post by BMS, wondering how the International Cricket Council award could the ticketing contract to someone with such a "problematic track record, especially after what happened in the 2023 Cricket World Cup?"
You are unable to generate even 500 tickets in 10 minutes. What exactly are you doing, @ICC? How can you award the ticketing contract to someone with such a problematic track record, especially after what happened in the 2023 Cricket World Cup? pic.twitter.com/4brMElSisl

"What's the logic behind queue when tickets released are petty. This is sheer nuisance and making people occupied and wasting time," an X user named Dhaval posted on X. "It's frustrating for anyone who's trying and wasting time on the app. There must be quantities mentioned of seats in sale."
The tournament is set to be played from Feb. 7 to March 8 in India. The entry-level tickets are priced at "historic lows", to enhance the affordability for the bulk of cricketing fans, the International Cricket Council said.
At some of the stadiums in India, the ticket prices start at Rs 100, while the ticket prices in Sri Lanka start at LKR 1000 (Rs 294). For the opening bout of India vs USA on Feb. 7, the ticket prices start from Rs 750 onwards.
