T20 World Cup: India Emerges Victorious In Tense Low-Scoring Encounter With Pakistan

Indian bowlers, spearheaded by Jasprit Bumrah, led the team to a thrilling six-run victory over Pakistan in a low-scoring T20 World Cup match on Sunday.

Bumrah claimed three wickets for 14 runs, while Hardik Pandya took two wickets for 24 runs, ensuring India's successful defence of a modest total of 120. Pakistan managed to score only 113 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

Prior to Pakistan's innings, pacers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Amir delivered impressive performances, contributing to India's dismissal for 119 runs amidst intermittent rain interruptions.

Shah took three wickets for 21 runs, while Amir claimed two wickets for 23 runs, with Haris Rauf also contributing with three wickets.

India's batting struggled against Pakistan's bowlers on a slightly uneven pitch, with Rishabh Pant being the standout performer, scoring 42 runs from 31 balls, including six boundaries.

In summary, India scored 119 runs, with Pant top-scoring, while Pakistan managed 113 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah were the key bowlers for India, securing the victory by six runs.
