Rajasthan, on the other hand, were blown away by Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) destructive batting in their campaign opener. Hyderabad posted a mammoth 286 run total, led by Ishan Kishan's impressive century on debut for the franchise. Rajasthan Royal batters also countered with an attacking approach and scored 242 runs in the chase before eventually losing the game by 44 runs.

Both teams will be eager to register their first win of the tournament when they lock horns in Guwahati on Wednesday, March 26.
