India defeated Australia by four wickets to secure its position in the finals of the Champions Trophy 2025. India's win means that Dubai is the venue for the Champions Trophy final.
Virat Kohli's impressive 84 runs guided India to victory after captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 28 and opening partner Shubman Gill was out for 8, bowled by Ben Dwarshuis.

Kohli made great use of his pull and drive shots, placing the ball between sweeper cover and mid-wicket for easy and safe runs. He was declared the 'Player of the Match' for his stunning innings of 84 runs from 98 balls.
Australia's Adam Zampa and Nathan Ellis took two wickets each and Ben Dwarshuis and Cooper Connolly got one wicket each.
Smith remained the backbone of Australia's innings, contributing to three 50-run partnerships with Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey.
Mohammed Shami grabbed three wickets for India, while Varun Chakravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja got two wickets each. All-rounders Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel got one wicket each.
