ISG, a leading global advisor to the IT Services industry, reported continued strong deal bookings for the industry in Q4 CY21. Global managed services annual contract value, though flattish on sequential basis, down 1.1% QoQ, 13.2% YoY at $8.6 billion, was maintained above $8 billion for three consecutive quarters.
Smaller deals continue to dominate the market with number of managed services deals exceeding 500 for fourth consecutive quarter. Enterprises are breaking down large transformation projects into smaller units for faster deal execution in turn creating opportunities for mid-size IT service providers.
