KR Choksey Report
Bandhan Bank has experienced steady improvement in its overall collection efficiency at 76% by June 20 as against 29% in April 20. It includes 68% from micro loans segment, 85% from mortgage, 82% from small and medium sized enterprises and 100% of non banking financial company in value terms. 68% of micro borrowers have started repayments so far. According to management, customers' behavioral pattern is more important where 99% of borrowers have paid all installments so far.
Though management expects normal credit costs for the rest of FY21, we expect FY21 profits would be impacted majorly. Accordingly, we have lowered our FY21 estimates.
