Equity funds witness outflows for second consecutive month in August 2020 at Rs 4000 crore after outflow of Rs 2480 crore in July 2002.
Few investors seem to be using recent rally to book profit/reduce equity exposure as gross inflows remain stable while gross redemption increases in last few months.
While systematic investment plan inflows moderated, they still remained strong at Rs 7792 crore in August compared to Rs 7831 crore in July.
