Motilal Oswal Report

Topline growth momentum has well and truly returned post the pandemic impact in previous quarters, with cumulative sales for our coverage universe expected to grow 8.5% YoY for Q3 FY21.

This is the strongest pace of growth estimated since the March 2019 quarter.

Continued momentum in rural sales, good winter season sales, upbeat festive season demand, improving consumer sentiment, and some pent-up demand are likely to lead to healthy growth for Q3 FY21.

Furthermore, this is likely to only get stronger in subsequent quarters, driven by some of the above factors as well by a weak base off the Covid-19 impact.
