Colgate-Palmolive India Ltd.'s revenue witnessed growth of 3.9% to Rs 1280.1 largely led by pricing growth. Most fast moving consumer goods companies have taken price hikes to pass on the sharp increase in crude based raw material costs.
The company launched ‘Colgate Gum expert' toothpaste that has curcumin extracts taken from turmeric (the company is making a proposition of healing properties for gum health).
In the toothbrush category, the company launched ‘Colgate RecyClean' a toothbrush with plant derived bristles.
Colgate has also forayed in face cleansing category with Palmolive range of face care products. The products range includes face foams, masques and scrubs, which is created with premium natural ingredients and essential oils.
