Anup Engineering Ltd. reported decent Q1 FY22 results.
Revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 52 crore, up 72% y-o-y, down 61% q-o-q.
It is important to note that Q1 FY21 had a low base whereas Q4 FY21 was exceptionally strong given some spillover from Q3 FY21.
Hence, the y-o-y and q-o-q performance is not comparable.
Anup Engineering's Ebitda margins contracted ~355 basis points y-o-y and ~270 bps q-o-q coming in at 24%.
Absolute Ebitda came in at Rs 12.5 crore, up 50% y-o-y.
Ensuing profit after tax came in at Rs 7.9 crore, with a margin of 15.2%. Tax rate for the quarter was at 19.6%.
