Wonderla Holidays Q3 Results: Net Profit Dips 45.6%, Revenue Down Nearly 2%

Wonderla Holidays Ltd.'s net profit slipped to Rs 20.3 crore, representing a 45.6% fall for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, of the current fiscal 2025 as compared to Rs 37.4 crore for the same period last year.
The company's revenue fell by 1.7% to Rs 122 crore for the third quarter as against Rs 124 crore for the year ago period. The amusement parks owner's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation dipped to Rs 37 crore for the October- December period, denoting a 32% fall from Rs 54.5 crore for the same quarter last year.
Its margins were at 30.6% for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, as contrast to 44.1% for the same period in the previous year.

The board of the company approved the re-designation of Arun K Chittilappilly, managing director, as the managing director and executive chairman effective form Jan. 27, 2025.
The board also approved the appointment of Aprameya Radhakrishna as an additional (independent) director effective from Feb. 1.
Shares of Wonderla Holidays closed 6.24% lower at Rs 717.30 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 1.14% fall in the benchmark Nifty 50. The share price has fallen 17.07% in the last 12 months.
All three analysts tracking the company maintain a 'buy' rating on the stock, according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential upside of 50.6%.
